Pokelike gives you quick Pokémon-style runs where each click shapes the team that fights for you.
Here's a quick look at the game:
What is Pokelike?
Pokelike is a browser roguelike about building a team one decision at a time. You start with a single starter, then move through encounters, rewards, trades, and battles until your roster becomes strong enough to chase badges and challenge the Champion.
You do not need complex keyboard controls to play. Most of the game is about choosing, dragging, skipping, and continuing. The real challenge is knowing when to catch, when to take an item, when to heal, and when to trust the team you already have.
How to Play Pokelike
Pick your starter and begin the route. Each step gives you a new situation: a wild Pokémon may join, an item may appear, a battle may start, or a trade may offer a different team option. Your choices stack up fast, so think about what your team needs now and what it may need soon.
Battles are decided by the team you bring into them. Levels, matchups, items, and order all matter. Before a big fight, open your team view and place the right Pokémon in front. A poor lead can waste health before your better answers get a chance.
The run keeps moving forward through badges and tougher opponents. If a route gives you a chance to cover a weakness, take it seriously. A balanced team usually lasts longer than one strong Pokémon with no backup plan.

Tips for Pokelike
- Check your team after every major reward, not only after losing.
- Keep different types on the team so one bad matchup does not wipe the run.
- Put your safest lead first before boss-style battles.
- Skip rewards that do not improve your current team plan.
